Shopping, Dining, Nightlife, and Getting Around from Sudirman

Shopping: CityWalk Sudirman is only 5 minutes walking distance from Istana Sahid Sudirman Apartment. Many affordable restaurants, coffee shops, and saloons can be found there. You can also find some affordable street foods outside the CityWalk Sudirman. You can also go to Grand Indonesia with only 10 minutes by car. It's one of the largest upscale shopping centers in Jakarta. It has pretty much anything you may need, including two supermarkets, international department stores, and many high-end fashion brands. It is also famous for hosting hundreds of restaurants with plenty of coffee shops, bakeries, and bars. Buy your weekly groceries at Daily FoodHall in Istana Sahid Apartments or Papaya Supermarket in Citywalk Sudirman.

Restaurants and Bars: There is an Italian restaurant on the lower ground of Sahid Sudirman Residence called Misticanza. In Grand Sahid Jaya, you can order some of the best Indonesian foods at Bengawan Solo or Japanese cuisine at Bushido. Craving that classic burgers and fries? Get them at Johnny Rocket's at Sahid Sudirman Center. Just 4-minute walk from the apartment, you can try the authentic Argentinian foods at La Posta Taste of Argentina.

Nightlife: Although there are not many clubs and bars around the neighborhood, you can find some of the best bars just a little bit further from the apartment. Near Grand Indonesia Mall, there are Skye and Cloud Lounge, where you can enjoy your amazing foods and great drinks while watching the breathtaking view of the city skyline. In Mega Kuningan, Basque and Loewy are well-known as the expats bars.

Transportation: As one of the busiest roads in Jakarta, Sudirman Street is crucial to connect Central, Western, and Eastern part of Jakarta. There are several public transportations available around the neighborhood to ease your mobility. The MRT station Setiabudi is located within 5 minutes on foot from the apartment. The closest Transjakarta shuttle bus is in front of MidPlaza, only 5 minutes on foot. There's also a train station called Sudirman station, about 2.5 kilometers away. You can take the train to CGK airport, the city's international airport, from Sudirman Station. But at the end of the day, it's the best way to travel around the city using ride-hailing apps such as Grab or Gojek.
