1. GORDON

The name ‘GORDON’ came from ‘gourmet donut’. Started as a temporary shop that hops from bazaar to bazaar, GORDON now has official stores and a lot of fans. At first, the owner was inspired by Australian donuts that are super delicious with the company of morning coffee. Then, he did lots of experiments for 6 months to create the famous artisanal donuts he’s selling right now. His work was no waste as GORDON’s donuts and coffee are liked by many people- and by having stores in office complexes. Employees love to get their daily dose of morning recharge with their donuts.

Based in Bali, Dough Darlings crafted donuts that are very tempting and delicious. Their donuts are chewy and unique, which the customers really love until Dough Darlings became one of the must-visit shops when people come to Bali. They opened Kitchen by Dough Darlings at Jakarta and sell even more variety of donuts- and also, main course meals. Try out their soto betawi and top it off with their signature donuts for dessert! Or do you prefer your donuts to be your main course? They have savory donuts as well to fulfill your tummy!

Their donuts are no doubt one of the best, with elaborate flavors daily. My personal favorite is their chocolate peanut and dark choco bomb.

Talita Setyadi founded BEAU Bakery in April 2015, after returning from culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu Paris. What started off with homemade gourmet Italian doughnuts “Bombos”, has since grown into a chain of cafés and bakeries headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia. With a commitment to talent development and innovation in producing delicious bread naturally, BEAU Bakery rejects the use of preservatives, dough conditioners, artificial flavors, or colors, opting for natural colors and aromas from fruits and vegetables. When I came in, the staff immediately approached me and asked whether I want him to help me choose the pastry or I want to choose myself. I asked for his recommendation, and they were all good. Gonna come back here soon

As the name suggests, their donuts are really dope. Not only they’re super tasty, but they look really good in pictures, artisanal to be particular. They started with a simple plan of making people happy with their artisanal donuts- and that definitely worked!
