2. IALF

With three institutions located in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bali, IALF had successfully taught more than 1000 students to speak Indonesian fluently – whether for business or casual purposes. IALF Jakarta holds intensive and non-intensive courses directed for both individuals or small groups. They offer four kinds of courses: Specialized, Intensive, Semi-intensive, and online. Specialized courses allow learners to engage in a private session with one teacher. On the other hand, Intensive and semi-intensive courses differ in their schedule. Intensive classes will be conducted for 2 weeks while semi-intensive courses will be conducted for 5 weeks. 3. BIPA at LBI Universitas Indonesia

BIPA stands for Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing or Indonesian Language for foreigners. This program is held regularly by Universitas Indonesia’s Faculty of Humanities. Moreover, there are two kinds of programs that you can try: Regular and Special. Regular programs consist of 16-week long learning sessions, with 20 hours a week. There are two sessions that participants need to be present every day from Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 13:00. These programs are held every three months: January to April, May to August, and September to December. Also, three levels are tendered from elementary to advanced. Furthermore, the special programs offered individualized courses to meet the different needs and goals of the learners. The special programs offer intensive short courses for groups that last for two to four weeks, tutorial programs, and in-house training programs.

Located in two of the most crowded cities of Indonesia, specifically Jakarta and Surabaya, IF Language Center is well known to provide Indonesian language courses to foreign employees of multinational companies coming from China, Taiwan, Malaysia, and so on. They have a standardized curriculum and exams to facilitate the learning process of the students. Levels include beginner, intermediate, and Indonesian language for business. Beginner classes will have 19 meetings, with 2 hours in each session. This class is intended for students with no basic knowledge of the language. Thus, they will teach the class from the basic pronunciation about the words that will be used daily. Class size ranges from a big class with a minimum of 5 people or more, small class with 3-4 people, and VIP class with 1-2 people in each session.
