The only sure way to get a job as an expat is to apply to an international or foreign-owned company. There is a high chance that they want to employ someone who’s fluent in English. A teacher at an international school or a translator is probably two of the jobs that you can apply for. JNY is part of the Nanyang International Education from Singapore so that means that they have many foreign teachers and students. As an international school, most of the day-to-day speaking basis with peers and students will mostly be spoken in English. So you can relax as you don’t need to be fluent in Bahasa to be employed here. To apply here, you must need a bachelor’s degree and have a teaching license based on what subject you’ll teach. You’ll also need to be familiar with the Cambridge curriculum with 2 years of experience teaching in an international school. The company was established in 1972 and is the first EPC company that was listed on the stock market. The company has Indika Energy as their holding company, which means that they’re a national company that has international-class standards. As an expatriate, you can fit right in as a lot of expats have and are still working here. They’re now looking for applicants in fields such as data analysts, data researchers, and a general manager for E&C. To apply, you need to have a bachelor’s in your respective field of work. You will also need at least 10 years of experience to work here as they’re looking for experienced professional employees. And of course, people mostly talk in English during work hours. Universitas Pelita Harapan has been known to be Indonesia’s most popular and biggest private university. They were established in 1994 by Johannes Oentoro and James Riady. They are known to have a high-quality team of teachers and staff that reflects on their accomplished students. They are the first university in Indonesia to introduce programs that are entirely taught in English. As an expat, this is the perfect place for you to work if you are considering a teaching career. Right now, UPH is looking for applicants for their lecturer and support position in TESOL. TESOL is the largest professional organization for teachers of English as a second or foreign language. To apply, you need to have an advanced degree in TESOL and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. you can find this university in Lippo Karawaci, Tangerang next to Supermall Karawaci. 

AEON Credit Service Indonesia

AEON Credit Service is a subsidiary of the AEON Financial Service Co. It is currently operating 13 countries in Asia, one of which is in Japan. It is also part of the AEON Group which is the biggest retailer company in Japan. It was established in Indonesia since 2006 and has been a network of more than 1.800 merchants all around Indonesia. They have a business focus on providing consumer ownership of electronic products, furniture, and musical instruments. Since this is a foreign company, there are a lot of expats that have and are still currently working here. They are now looking for applicants for their General Affairs Officer position. You will be responsible to assist the board of directors and creating reports for other expat’s work permits. To apply, you will need a Bachelor in Human Resources, Psychology, and Management with a GPA of 3.0. 

MNC Vision

MNC Vision is currently one of Indonesia’s biggest subscription-based direct broadcast satellite television and radio service. It was established in 1988 by the MNC Sky Vision Group and was once known as Indovision. As a cable provider, a lot of expats have been working her mostly as engineers and or managers. The employees here are not fluent in English, but don’t you worry as you won’t interact directly with them. They currently have their General Affairs Assistant Manager as one of their open positions for people to apply for. All of the applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management with at least 5 years of experience. All of the work done there will be done in English and you will speak English to your superiors. After accepting the job, you will have to remotely work in Kebon Sirih and Lido. 

FL Technics Indonesia

FL Technics Indonesia is a global provider for aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul services. The company is a subsidiary and part of the Avia Solutions Group. It is known to be the largest aerospace business in Central and Eastern Europe right now. As it is a foreign company that deals in aerospace, a lot of expats have applied for a position here. They are now looking for a Tax Supervisor to fill in their spot. You will need to review the tax verification of vendor vendors and supervising monthly tax reports. You will need at least 3 years to apply and also a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
