Benedict is a gourmet café by two infamous chefs, Ivan Wibowo and Fernando Sindu, who has had tons of experience in the world of food before. It is located at the Lower Ground of East Mall of Grand Indonesia. According to their name, Benedict, the restaurant serves a bunch of all-day breakfast menu, like egg benedict, loaves of bread, salads. But worry not, that’s not the only menu that they offer, there are a lot of choices that you can pick from their menus, such as sandwiches, burgers, steaks, and many others.
As Benedict is one of the restaurants under The UNION’s group, their interior is very similar to other The UNION’s group restaurants, very simple yet classy and rustic at the same time. If you are visiting Benedict for breakfast, you should try their Mexican Eggs Benedict, eggs benedict topped with chorizo, peppers, chipotle hollandaise, corn fritters, feta cheese and served with fried cassava. Oku is a Japanese fine dining located at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski. This restaurant is looking sleek, modern with a touch of Japanese characteristics. When you step your feet into the restaurant, most likely the vibe you’ll be getting is Zen. The simple minimalistic wooden furniture, outdoor landscape with small Japanese pine trees, and calming music will get you that Zen vibes and makes you feel like at home.

3. Dinner at Cloud Lounge & Living Room
Cloud Lounge & Living Room is located at the same tower as Altitude The Plaza, the office tower from Plaza Indonesia called The Plaza 49th floor. This restaurant is breathtakingly beautiful, you can see 360 degrees city view from the restaurant. The best time to visit would be during the sun sets, that way you will be able to see the beautiful color-changing sky from bright until it turns dark. However, please do note that you have to make a reservation if you wish to visit the restaurant and be seated at a table with a beautiful view, as it is very packed.
Having dinner at Cloud Lounge & Living Room would be awesome, as you are surrounded with a beautiful night view of the city. As the view is beautiful, you would want to order some delicious cuisine, and that would be their Seared Lamb Shank with Mashed Potatoes and Demi-Glace Sauce. The lamb shank is very tender, so it wouldn’t be hard to chew.
