Being a traditional market means that it’s not hygienic but the prices are cheap and have good quality.

Usually, consumers come at 3 AM not long after the vegetables have arrived, this is so they could have fresh food and cook it for breakfast. In the morning, all the shops are opened, but in the evening they start to close. At night, there more people are selling various traditional street foods and fruits. If you’re looking for a traditional market but in a modern building, then Pasar Modern BSD City is the place for you. It’s a settled market that opens 24-hours, which means its activities are always active. This market has ceramic tiles flooring with clean and neat areas and it has a very high ceiling so the air circulation works well. They also have a huge parking lot for you! You can find most if not all types of dealers you would find on a traditional market like vegetables, various cakes, fruits, chicken, seafood, meat, herbs, shoes, clothes, and even gold. But the prices are slightly higher than the usual traditional market.

Like any kind of traditional market, Many consumers come in the morning to buy their needs or have breakfast because all the shops are opened, but by the evening they start to close and the sellers open their various traditional street foods and fruits in the parking lot. Pecah Kulit market or Mangga Dua market is located approximately 1 km below the railway of Mangga Dua. The traditional market provides a variety of goods such as clothing for women, toys for children, accessories, and some traditional food goodies, such as fried noodles and satays. Moreover, Pecah Kulit Night Market tends to become more lively towards Eid and year-end holidays. If you wish to visit this night market be sure to practice your bargaining superpower and use it every time you want to buy something.

This is one of the famous settled night markets in Tangerang. Although it’s only opened on Monday night and in such a short time, this market is always crowded with people. They make time to go to this market because they have various delicious traditional and non-traditional street food at reasonable prices! Fit for a great culinary hunt at night. There are also various stalls like clothes, various equipment, toys, kitchen sets, vegetables, fruits, seafood, and much more! It’s no wonder that people usually enjoy going shopping here.

5. Tangerang Pasar Malam

This market is only available on Tuesday night. You can find this market around the area of Kampung Dadap since it’s not a settled market and most of the time moves to a different spacious area. Since this night market is held regularly and exclusively, there are a lot of street vendors in this market selling various clothes, vegetables, kitchen needs, furniture, and toys. Furthermore, this market also has great culinary street food ready to fulfill the night!

One of the characteristics of a moving night market is that they have mini theme park rides to entertain all the family! From Ferris wheels to 8D experiences, all packed in a mini set for you to enjoy. Many people enjoy coming here to just play and the rides are usually cheap around Rp10.000-30.000/ride.
