Cleaning your room could instantly seem more enticing than your spreadsheet. Or maybe a quick three-hour binge of that Netflix series, which will last until midnight. Staying productive at home needs extra effort, so it’s important to know some tips on working from home.

Now that you could save the world by practicing social distancing, working from home is becoming the new norm. But as we stay put with our families, our bed, and the TV which could be very tempting, how do we stay focused and productive during work hours?

So, first thing’s first, you should probably sit up straight, take a shower, eat some breakfast. How else can you stay focused on the job while working remotely? Here are a few ideas on how to make the most of it.

Create a Comfy Space

Find yourself a dedicated and comfortable spot to work at home is one of the main tips on working from home. It’s always worthwhile to invest in a homework environment. Create a workspace that gives you joy with calming design and sufficient lighting, and make sure your table and chair are set up comfortably. It surely helps if you have a dedicated space for working from home where you can close the door or shut out distractions. When working from home, it’s so easy to roll out of bed in your PJs and start working on your task. But getting dressed makes the home office more like a real office.
