1. Tous Les Jours Bakery Chain

It is one of the best bakeries in Indonesia, not only does it have branches in Jakarta but also in cities outside Jakarta. This French-named bakery and cafe is actually a South Korean enterprise and is quite up and coming in the business. Tous Les Jours is first opened in Indonesia in 2011 and is now a respected brand in 7 countries.

They also sell coffee to pair your bread if you dine-in there. You could find all sorts of french bakery goods, from the long bread to the classic croissant. Of course, other than their soft, rich, and high-quality bakery goods, they sell pastries, puddings, and cakes (includes birthday cakes). They are available on Grab and Gojek for online delivery!

I always like this shop’s product because it has unique, nutritious, and solid ingredients. Do not memorize the names because I always take turns tasting various products. Especially for heavy dishes, I like the salad set and the fresh juices. Fresh and healthy!

Moving on to the pricier side of this list, we have Paul Patisserie and Boulangerie. This bakery chain is already known in 28 countries and has opened more than 400 shops worldwide. Its french aesthetic and black theme provokes class and quality in its shops. In Jakarta, it is well known as a perfect place for breakfast and it is also located in some of the biggest malls.

Their eclair and handmade sandwiches are among the most memorable in their menu. And of course, croissants are especially among the signature bread in this bakery chain. They also sell various of bakery goods, pasteries, and even main french cuisine like french fries and speggethi.

We’ve seen bakery chains in Jakarta that boast a Japanese and French take on a bakery, now we see them combined. Not really for those hardcore bread enthusiasts, but still a good place to visit nonetheless especially for their Donat Gemes which is their signature thick donuts. Their donut is to die for! I love how it had the shape of a dome. It was fluffy, airy, and soft. The toppings were generous. My fav is the cheese one. One of the best donuts in town but you should buy before 1 pm because they might be out of stock.
