Cibanon: A Subdistrict in Sukaraja, Bogor Regency

Cibanon is a desa (village) within the Sukaraja subdistrict of Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia. It is part of the larger Bogor Regency, which is situated south of DKI Jakarta and serves as a bedroom community for the capital city.

Cibanon is located in the Sukaraja district, which lies immediately north and east of Bogor City. The district's proximity to Jakarta makes it an attractive residential area. Travel time from Cibanon to the subdistrict capital is approximately 35 minutes, and to the regency capital, it is around 45 minutes.

Cibanon village is administratively divided into 2 dusun (hamlets), 5 Rukun Warga (RW), and 17 Rukun Tetangga (RT).

To the west, it borders Lebak Regency, to the south, Sukabumi Regency, to the southeast, Cianjur Regency, and to the east, Karawang Regency. Bogor City is fully encircled by Bogor Regency but is administratively independent.
