Similar to Jungutbatu, Sandy Bay offers a scenic beach experience with blue waters and white sands. You can just find a seat in the nearest resto and relax! One thing that is different from Jungutbatu is the strong waves, which is why you won’t see as many boats over here compared to Jungutbatu. 

3. Dream Beach

This beach is as dreamy as it gets. Small coast, gentle waves soaking your feet, nearby cottages where you can relax and sunbathe. The sand might not be white, but this is the ideal beach for you, whether you’re a swimmer or a sunbather! 

Temples and Panoramic Spots in Nusa Lembongan, Bali

There are more than a few local temples to which you can visit. While they aren’t as extravagant as Pura Luhur Uluwatu, seeing local spots and prayer sites may make you feel more acquainted with your new place. They also often function as meeting points for villagers and locals there. These temples include: 

  • Pura Desa dan Puseh Desa Pakraman Lembongan 
  • Pura Segara Desa Pekraman Lembongan
  • Pura Kawitan Kubontubuh

Situated on the left side of the island, this cliffside attraction is not to be missed! It’s waves would often gush and hit the cliffs. Be careful of getting dragged by the waves, though. There have been a few accidents here. Local authorities have placed barriers to prevent visitors from accidentally falling into the water.

The blue paradise is also known for its lush greeneries! Mangrove point is a must visit for you who wants to get to know what’s around. For only 100k Rupiah you can rent a kayak and paddle around this green gem of lembongan island! Very soothing and tranquil! 

3. Yellow Bridge

Lembongan could be said as a hidden retreat for Balinese locals and international tourists alike to enjoy. If you want to find work here, it has to be connected to particular jobs such as the wellness/fitness and recreational sector. Examples include yoga instructor and scuba diving expert.

Getting around Nusa Lembongan, Bali  

Because it’s a relatively remote island from the hustle and bustle of Bali, you can only get to Nusa Lembongan by fast boat with a price of 75k Rupiah. It will take you 30 minutes to get from Bali to Lembongan. Ports that are used for pick-up are located in Sanur and Serangan. The ports that you will go to will either be Port Nusa Lembongan. 

To get around the blue paradise, it’s best for you to rent a motorbike. Usually it costs IDR 70k to IDR 100k.

Expat Living in Nusa Lembongan Bali 

Finding a long term rental can be difficult in Nusa Lembongan. But not to fret, you can instead choose to live in Sanur or nearby Nusa Penida. Either way, you can still center your life around the Blue Paradise!
