Breakfast: Sajiva Coffee & Ceramics
Step inside through the wooden doors and you will find our 4-story shop to be as cozy as it is spacious: rustic vibe, wooden furnishings, and bare-brick concrete walls, with the roastery taking up the 1st and 2nd floor, while ceramics gallery and workshop are held on the 3rd and 4th. Sajiva Coffee & Ceramics is truly a hidden gem. The location of this restaurant in Karawaci is hard to find, but once you find the place, you will immediately know that Sajiva Coffee is like a sanctuary just by looking at the wooden entrance and marble tables that are its trademark.
What makes Sajiva unique from most coffee shops is the menu they serve. If other coffee shops usually have a Coffee, Tea, Cake, and Brunch menu, at Sajiva you can enjoy Coffee, Pastries, and Dim Sum. Where else can you sip quality coffee while accompanied by Hakao, Chicken Legs, and Siomay? If you prefer Pastries, there are Brownies, Croissants, and Cookies that taste really good. The coffee variant here is quite complete. There are Macchiato, Piccolo, Americano, Flat White, and many more. The taste of the coffee is strong and so refreshing.

Lunch: Waroeng SS
Waroeng Special Sambal SS was established on August 20, 2002, and now has 93 branches spread from Java – Bali to Asia. Waroeng Special Sambal “SS” is a brand that serves a variety of fresh sambal and Indonesian specialties. It’s a great chili food, especially for those of you who like to eat a lot, like spicy food, but don’t want to reach into the bag too deep. The chicken skin is crispy, the meat is juicy. Really delicious to eat using other side dishes and also chili! What makes this hot sauce great is its fresh taste! You have to try this sauce, it’s not just spicy. Every time we come here, we’re sure to order fried mushrooms. The mushrooms are juicy, the flour is just right, crispy and savory. Dip it with sambal, then eat it with rice and chicken, boom! Very delicious. For beverages, you can choose tea, water, or juices. We ordered orange ice and lime ice. Fresh. Oh yeah, if you’ve ordered a spicy sauce, you have to prepare to drink a spare, then later if you don’t have to drink it, it’s bad too.

Dinner: Taal
Because of the complete types of restaurants in Karawaci, you can also find some Indian restaurants in the area. There are so many Indian specialties in Taal. One of the most recommended is Chicken Biryani. They use fried briyani which makes it taste rich in spices. The rice is very fragrant and soft. The chicken is tender and seasoned perfectly. Usually, most people do not like Indian cuisine because it uses abundant spices so that the aroma and taste are very sharp. But not with the menus served at this restaurant. The taste has been adjusted to Indonesian tastes.
As reported by Tangsel Media, the cuisine in Taal is not too overpowering and the menu choices are also numerous. Foods are usually served with hot steam so that it adds to the deliciousness, especially those served with soup. All menus served in this restaurant are rich in spices and give a warm sensation to the body after eating it. What’s interesting again, starting from the owner to the cook turned out to be from India. The atmosphere of the restaurant also includes comfortable. In the front area of the restaurant, there is a display cabinet that contains a variety of Indian trinkets that further enhance the appearance of this restaurant. Similar to all the restaurants and cafes in this area, Taal also provides two rooms for its visitors, indoor and outdoor.
If you want to enjoy snacks, it is recommended to order panner bread eaten with a sprinkling of curry on top. This panner is usually fried or grilled. The specialty of Taal’s panner is its savory and crispy taste. This panner is served with hot steams, thus giving a strong flavor to the herbs that are mixed in it. Instead of curious to try Indian cuisine, just come to Taal.
