Lemah Duhur, Caringin Subdistrict

Lemah Duhur is a desa (village) located within the administrative district of Caringin, Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia. It is recognized as a component of the larger conurbation of Jakarta, and is situated several kilometers south of Bogor city. The name "Lemah Duhur" is derived from local terms meaning "flat" or "level land" (lelemah/rata) and "high ground" or "upland" (duhur/luhur), referencing the historical practice of flattening elevated areas for settlement. The village is estimated to have been formed between 1910 and 1920.
