Cisalada, Cigombong, Bogor Regency

Cisalada is a subdistrict located within the Cigombong district of Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia. Situated in a hilly area with elevations ranging from approximately 500 to 700 meters above sea level, Cisalada is characterized by its cool climate and scenic natural environment. The subdistrict's landscape features rice fields, plantations, and clear rivers, contributing to a serene rural atmosphere. The majority of its residents are engaged in agriculture and livestock farming, with some also working in trade or services.

Cisalada is geographically positioned in the southern part of Bogor Regency. It is connected to the wider region through district roads, providing access to the center of Cigombong district within 5 to 10 minutes. Bogor Regency itself is located south of DKI Jakarta and serves as a bedroom community for the capital. The regency is bordered by Tangerang Regency, the cities of South Tangerang, Depok, and Bekasi to the north; Lebak Regency to the west; Sukabumi Regency to the south; Cianjur Regency to the southeast; and Karawang Regency to the east.

Cisalada's fertile agricultural land supports commodities such as rice, vegetables, and fruits. The area also possesses natural attractions, including rivers and hills, which contribute to its rural appeal. There is at least one elementary school, SD N Cisalada 01, located in Kp Cisalada Rt. 02/10.

Cisalada contributes to the agricultural output and rural character of Bogor Regency. Its natural landscape and farming activities play a role in maintaining the ecological balance and providing agricultural resources for the surrounding areas. As a subdistrict within Cigombong, it is part of Bogor Regency, which is the most populous regency in West Java and Indonesia, serving as a significant residential area for those working in Jakarta.

Cisalada is located within the Cigombong district. Other villages within the Cigombong district include Watesjaya, Tugujaya, Srogol, Pasirjaya, Ciburuy, Ciburayut, and Ciadeg. The administrative center of Bogor Regency is Cibinong. Bogor Regency is bordered by several other regencies and cities, including Sukabumi Regency to the south, and Depok City and Bekasi City to the north.
