Caringin is a subdistrict situated in the Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia. It is considered part of the broader Jabodetabek area, serving as one of Jakarta's outermost suburbs, though it is geographically closer to Bogor City.

Caringin is located in Bogor Regency, West Java. The subdistrict's administrative center is Cimande Hilir. It is connected by local transportation routes, including Angkutan Kota (public mini-vans) with routes such as F02 (Sukasari-Cicurug), F02C (Ciawi-Pasir Muncang), and F04 (Cihideung-Caringin). Major roads like Jalan Raya Sukabumi also pass through or near Caringin. The area is approximately 25 km from the center of Bogor City.
